Education

Education

"We strongly believe that education is key to future success of all our projects."

The lack of free public schools means some children stay home to work on the farms. Others are sent to the capital or other cities to work as servants (Restavek).  In the capital, boys and girls as young as 7 years old are sent to the streets by their masters to work as prostitutes. Scholarships are critical so many more children may attend school, receive an education and avoid exploitation

We have worked hand in hand with High Hopes for Haiti in providing a Computer Lab and a Library at James Stine College in St. Marc, Haiti.

Reviving Haiti has also been involved in Chardonnette and Foucand by providing assistance to build St. Gerard Majella School, which accommodates 220 students and Bon Berger School with 100 students. Every year we provide financial support and books for the children, but so much more is needed.

Any gift towards the work and educational resources of these two schools will accomplish so much!
